Wix Editor to Wix Studio Migration for Online Cooking Classes Business

The client runs a cooking business offering online classes, custom recipes, and user interaction via multiple Wix forms. The goal of the project was to migrate the entire site from the classic Wix Editor to the new Wix Studio platform for better design flexibility, performance, and long-term scalability.

My Role:

Full Site Migration: Rebuilt the complete site in Wix Studio while maintaining the original design structure, layout, and branding consistency.

Modern Responsive Design: Leveraged Wix Studio’s responsive capabilities to enhance mobile and tablet experience, making the UI more user-friendly.

Custom Form Logic Transfer: Recreated and optimized all existing Wix Forms, some of which had conditional logic and custom triggers connected to backend workflows.

Performance Optimization: Cleaned unused sections and scripts to ensure better speed, reduced clutter, and a more organized backend.

Studio Features Utilization: Used Studio-specific features like responsive containers, advanced breakpoints, and centralized design tokens to create a clean and scalable system.

Post-Migration Testing: Conducted full QA and testing to ensure all forms, links, and integrations worked seamlessly after the transfer.

This migration not only future-proofed the website but also enhanced usability and performance — ensuring the client can easily manage content, forms, and bookings in the new Studio environment.
